Soprano -Soprano is the smallest of the four ukulele body sizes and is the traditional ukulele size. The Honu Soprano is perfect for kids learning ukulele or for adults who prefer the brighter tone of a traditional ukulele.
Concert -Concert ukuleles are currently the most popular ukulele body size worldwide. Bigger than a soprano but smaller than a tenor, a concert uke is the perfect middle ground for most players. This size is suitable for all ages, though small children may be better suited to a soprano.
Tenor -Tenor ukuleles are exploding in popularity thanks to the full, deep sound produced by their larger body size. Bigger than the concert, the tenor is great for teenagers and adults that are looking for the most volume from their ukulele and extra space for their fingers on the fretboard.
Baritone -As the name suggests, a baritone ukulele is the largest and deepest sounding of all of the ukulele sizes. Usually tuned like the highest four strings of a guitar (DGBE), rather than the GCEA tuning found on most ukes, a baritone is great if you have a background in guitar because you won't have to learn any new chord shapes. They are also very fun if you are a ukulele player looking to experiment with a different tone.
Revered for its warm, mellow tones, mahogany has long been a staple in the construction of musical instruments. Our Mano series embraces the popular combination of mahogany top with mahogany body for a classic look and rich sound. The installed UK-500T pickup system includes a built in tuner with 3-band EQ and is powered by included lightweight CR2032 batteries. As with all Honolua Ukuleles, it includes premium features designed to produce the best tone possible at an affordable price, including solid mahogany top for greater volume and better tone, bone nut and saddle for better clarity and sustain, open back machine heads for tuning precision and eco-friendly wood selection.
Mano Series
The Mano Series is our first solid top model. All mahogany production with a solid mahogany top provides a warmer tone and extra volume than the Honu. To elevate its aesthetic appeal, the Mano also adds maple binding and rosette, gold tuners and hardware, and dual strap pins.

Currently the most popular body size, the concert ukulele is slightly longer, and the body is slightly bigger than the soprano, at 24". This provides a bit more space for fingers on the fingerboard. It will sound quite similar, tonally, to the soprano, but the slightly larger body will produce a little more volume and depth thanks to the larger resonating chamber. We suggest the concert model for anyone seeking the traditional ukulele tone, but who may be a little more comfortable with a bigger body.

I chose this model because I wanted something to plug in, and do enjoy the sound of my current uke which has a laminate mahogany body (different brand). So far, there is nothing not to like. It looks great, has a sweet tone, excellent build quality, and I love the built in tuner that is part of the electronics. I notice a bit more articulation with this compared to my other one likely due to the solid top, and the neck is a little wider which makes picking just a little easier. It also feels good supporting a small Canadian company. Cheers!
i have had a ulekele many times in my life....am back to it for my retirement years. Am very happy with my new found friend... it was way beyond my expectation... compared to what I was used to in the past.... both the sound and the overall feel of the revisited experience.... thank yo Honolua..... ;)
This Tenor Ukulele is one of several different sizes that I picked up from Honolua Ukuleles. I requested a low g setup on this one, and it arrived ready to go out of the box. The solid wood top sounds great and looks great as well. Although soprano is my favorite size, this one keeps getting picked up and played as well. Setup was good on the ukulele as well, and doesn’t have any fret buzz or intonation issues upon arrival. Are there higher end Ike’s you can get that have a better finish? Yes, of course. But I really am impressed with the playability, sound, and quality at this price point. I have also been very impressed with my interactions with Dave. He is super helpful and willing to take care of customers! I had several questions about some of my orders, and he was able to respond quickly and help me out. I would, and plan to, purchase from Honolua again!
We bought this ukulele for our 35th anniversary. Both my wife and I love it. It is very well made. It has sweet sound and easy to play.
