Soprano -Soprano is the smallest of the four ukulele body sizes and is the traditional ukulele size. The Honu Soprano is perfect for kids learning ukulele or for adults who prefer the brighter tone of a traditional ukulele.
Concert -Concert ukuleles are currently the most popular ukulele body size worldwide. Bigger than a soprano but smaller than a tenor, a concert uke is the perfect middle ground for most players. This size is suitable for all ages, though small children may be better suited to a soprano.
Tenor -Tenor ukuleles are exploding in popularity thanks to the full, deep sound produced by their larger body size. Bigger than the concert, the tenor is great for teenagers and adults that are looking for the most volume from their ukulele and extra space for their fingers on the fretboard.
Baritone -As the name suggests, a baritone ukulele is the largest and deepest sounding of all of the ukulele sizes. Usually tuned like the highest four strings of a guitar (DGBE), rather than the GCEA tuning found on most ukes, a baritone is great if you have a background in guitar because you won't have to learn any new chord shapes. They are also very fun if you are a ukulele player looking to experiment with a different tone.
Acacia has long been one of the most popular tonewoods used on higher end ukuleles and it's easy to see why. Visually striking and tonally rich, each piece of acacia has its own characteristics, making each instrument built with it unique. For our Kohala Deluxe series, we have paired the all acacia body with abalone style purfling and rosette and flame maple binding. The installed UK-500T pickup system includes a built in tuner with 3-band EQ and is powered by included lightweight CR2032 batteries. As with all Honolua Ukuleles, it includes premium features designed to produce the best tone possible at an affordable price, including solid acacia top for greater volume and better tone, bone nut and saddle for better clarity and sustain, open back machine heads for tuning precision and eco-friendly wood selections.
Kohala Series
The Kohala has all of the aesthetic upgrades of the Mano, including solid top, maple binding, gold tuners, and dual strap pins, but it’s built with acacia wood instead of mahogany. Acacia is revered for its beautiful, full tone and we’ve added abalone-style trim around the body.

Currently the most popular body size, the concert ukulele is slightly longer, and the body is slightly bigger than the soprano, at 24". This provides a bit more space for fingers on the fingerboard. It will sound quite similar, tonally, to the soprano, but the slightly larger body will produce a little more volume and depth thanks to the larger resonating chamber. We suggest the concert model for anyone seeking the traditional ukulele tone, but who may be a little more comfortable with a bigger body.

Our Siberian Husky Sitka ate two of the cheap versions. So this wonderful Ukulele was a birthday replacement. The sound is so rich in comparison. We haven’t used the electric yet but love the onboard tuner. The discounted stand is just the ticket to keep it up and out of reach of our Husky.

My wife bought me my Ukulele for Father's Day and I absolutely love it. The craftsmanship and quality are fantastic, I find it's fun and easy to play! I would definitely recommend this Ukulele to anyone looking to buy one!
Watch the video and you'll get a good idea of how the uke performs.
It's a fantastic quality that leaves other ukes in this price range in the dust. For an electric/acoustic Concert with a solid top, I am super impressed. I would highly recommend that if you are giving Honolua a try, go for this one. It's a great representation of their quality. I have played their entry level series Baritone and it was...good, but this one will really knock your socks off. Worth the extra couple of bucks.
I am now the proud owner of a Kohala concert electric ukulele from Honolua. I have spent a lot of time shopping online trying to find the right instrument. But somehow, I always came back to Kohala's web page. I found it was well designed and had all the pertinent information to help me find the right ukulele. I thought that the quality they had applied to their website would probably be reflected also in the quality of their musical instruments; and I was right. The craftmanship of this ukulele is incredible. Upon close inspection, I could'nt find any flaws. It is really a beautiful instrument. I'm no expert, but to my ears, the sound is spectacular, all 4 strings and all notes have great sustain and depth of tone. I would highly recommend a Honolua ukulele to everyone.
