Soprano -Soprano is the smallest of the four ukulele body sizes and is the traditional ukulele size. The Honu Soprano is perfect for kids learning ukulele or for adults who prefer the brighter tone of a traditional ukulele.
Concert -Concert ukuleles are currently the most popular ukulele body size worldwide. Bigger than a soprano but smaller than a tenor, a concert uke is the perfect middle ground for most players. This size is suitable for all ages, though small children may be better suited to a soprano.
Tenor -Tenor ukuleles are exploding in popularity thanks to the full, deep sound produced by their larger body size. Bigger than the concert, the tenor is great for teenagers and adults that are looking for the most volume from their ukulele and extra space for their fingers on the fretboard.
Baritone -As the name suggests, a baritone ukulele is the largest and deepest sounding of all of the ukulele sizes. Usually tuned like the highest four strings of a guitar (DGBE), rather than the GCEA tuning found on most ukes, a baritone is great if you have a background in guitar because you won't have to learn any new chord shapes. They are also very fun if you are a ukulele player looking to experiment with a different tone.
Limited Edition models are our way of expanding our ukulele lineup. Limited models are built with the specs of one of our three regular models (Honu, Mano, Kohala Deluxe) serving as the foundation, but we substitute a key ingredient to create a completely different tone or look. Limited models are just that, limited. Each one is produced in very limited quantities, and as they sell out they will be replaced by new limited models throughout the year.
Like our standard Mano series, this Limited version of the Mano embraces a classic wood combination. With solid spruce top and rosewood back and sides, this Mano Limited Edition will provide all the tone and volume you could want. As with all Honolua Ukuleles, it includes premium features designed to produce the best tone possible at an affordable price, including solid mahogany top for greater volume and better tone, bone nut and saddle for better clarity and sustain, open back machine heads for tuning precision and eco-friendly wood selections.
Mano Series
The Mano Series is our first solid top model. Borrowing a popular guitar wood combination, the solid spruce top and rosewood back and sides will have you sounding like you're playing a much bigger instrument. To elevate its aesthetic appeal, the Mano also adds maple binding and rosette, gold tuners and hardware, and dual strap pins.

After a surge in popularity in the last couple of years, the tenor is poised to become the biggest selling uke body size soon. At 26", it is another increase in size from the concert (at 24"). The benefits of that larger size: you get even more room on the fingerboard to shape the chords and the larger body provides even more resonance, volume and depth. The tenor ukulele will sound quite a bit deeper than the other options, so it strays a bit from traditional ukulele tone.

I cannot say enough good things about this uke sounds awesome great to play. Warm tone just an all around great experience
Happy with uke, except for the low g string.
Very happy with my new Uke. Very nice tone and am getting use to the size change from Soprano to tenor.
Thank you
These were my first two from Honolua, but I have nine ukuleles in total. This spruce top has a nice tone, but it is not warm. It would be perfect for picking or solos. It is bright and cheerful. It might be crisp with a condenser mic, but I wonder how it would with a dynamic mic with a preamp. Concert is not my favourite size, but my daughter keeps stealing it, so that means something.
All in all, great instrument. Not the toy you usually find around this price. See my other review on the Ebony concert.
