When we say we design our ukuleles for every skill level, we mean it. Get to know our three ukulele models to find the perfect fit for you.
The simple starter
Our Honu Series is perfect for the beginner ukulele player. The all-laminate sapele construction provides a full, bright tone and the laminate construction means it is durable and less susceptible to humidity changes. Aesthetically, it’s fairly simple, but it never compromises on sound quality.
Shop Honu SeriesUpgraded with solid wood
The Mano Series is our first solid top model. All mahogany production with a solid mahogany top provides a warmer tone and extra volume than the Honu. To elevate its aesthetic appeal, the Mano also adds maple binding and rosette, gold tuners and hardware, and dual strap pins.
Shop Mano SeriesDeluxe quality and aesthetics
The Kohala has all of the aesthetic upgrades of the Mano, including solid top, maple binding, gold tuners, and dual strap pins, but it’s built with acacia wood instead of mahogany. Acacia is revered for its beautiful, full tone and we’ve added abalone-style trim around the body.

Uke Night is the educational arm of Honolua Ukuleles, and we have an essential goal in mind: fostering community by encouraging and enabling more people to play music! Uke Night is the fastest and most fun way to learn how to play the ukulele, even if you’ve never touched an instrument before! Our program is designed to teach people with little or no musical ability how to play the ukulele in just one night — you can learn up to 12 popular songs in as little as an hour.
