Soprano -Soprano is the smallest of the four ukulele body sizes and is the traditional ukulele size. The Honu Soprano is perfect for kids learning ukulele or for adults who prefer the brighter tone of a traditional ukulele.
Concert -Concert ukuleles are currently the most popular ukulele body size worldwide. Bigger than a soprano but smaller than a tenor, a concert uke is the perfect middle ground for most players. This size is suitable for all ages, though small children may be better suited to a soprano.
Tenor -Tenor ukuleles are exploding in popularity thanks to the full, deep sound produced by their larger body size. Bigger than the concert, the tenor is great for teenagers and adults that are looking for the most volume from their ukulele and extra space for their fingers on the fretboard.
Baritone -As the name suggests, a baritone ukulele is the largest and deepest sounding of all of the ukulele sizes. Usually tuned like the highest four strings of a guitar (DGBE), rather than the GCEA tuning found on most ukes, a baritone is great if you have a background in guitar because you won't have to learn any new chord shapes. They are also very fun if you are a ukulele player looking to experiment with a different tone.

The all-laminate zebrawood construction provides a heavy, rich tone and the laminate construction means it is durable and less susceptible to humidity changes. While the appointments are simple, the bright, unique patterns on each piece of zebrawood are anything but.

After a surge in popularity in the last couple of years, the tenor is poised to become the biggest selling uke body size soon. At 26", it is another increase in size from the concert (at 24"). The benefits of that larger size: you get even more room on the fingerboard to shape the chords and the larger body provides even more resonance, volume and depth. The tenor ukulele will sound quite a bit deeper than the other options, so it strays a bit from traditional ukulele tone.

I love soprano size ukuleles, and have been on the hunt for my "dream" soprano since returning to ukulele as a hobby after a long hiatus. I don't know if this is the dream uke or not but for the price it's pretty close! I was looking to try a more "exotic" material than mahogany and this one looked so pretty. It arrived in good shape in Nova Scotia considered it was delivered in a torrential rainstorm. It has a very pretty sound, with no buzzing etc and I suspect it was set up at honolua before shipped (unlike some ukes that I have bought recently made by great brands, but drop shipped from Amazon). Wish I had splashed the extra cash for the nicer gig bag but the stock bag isn't bad. Feels good in your hands, sounds pretty to the ear, wish Honolua had better representation here on the east coast as I'd love to get some of the others in my hands to try. I hope you will consider adding a pineapple shape body model to your lineup some day as that's what I am actually dreaming of!
