Soprano -Soprano is the smallest of the four ukulele body sizes and is the traditional ukulele size. The Honu Soprano is perfect for kids learning ukulele or for adults who prefer the brighter tone of a traditional ukulele.
Concert -Concert ukuleles are currently the most popular ukulele body size worldwide. Bigger than a soprano but smaller than a tenor, a concert uke is the perfect middle ground for most players. This size is suitable for all ages, though small children may be better suited to a soprano.
Tenor -Tenor ukuleles are exploding in popularity thanks to the full, deep sound produced by their larger body size. Bigger than the concert, the tenor is great for teenagers and adults that are looking for the most volume from their ukulele and extra space for their fingers on the fretboard.
Baritone -As the name suggests, a baritone ukulele is the largest and deepest sounding of all of the ukulele sizes. Usually tuned like the highest four strings of a guitar (DGBE), rather than the GCEA tuning found on most ukes, a baritone is great if you have a background in guitar because you won't have to learn any new chord shapes. They are also very fun if you are a ukulele player looking to experiment with a different tone.
Acacia has long been one of the most popular tonewoods used on higher end ukuleles and it's easy to see why. Visually striking and tonally rich, each piece of acacia has its own characteristics, making each instrument built with it unique. For our Kohala Deluxe series, we have paired the all acacia body with abalone style purfling and rosette and flame maple binding. As with all Honolua Ukuleles, it includes premium features designed to produce the best tone possible at an affordable price, including solid acacia top for greater volume and better tone, bone nut and saddle for better clarity and sustain, open back machine heads for tuning precision and eco-friendly wood selections.
Kohala Series
The Kohala has all of the aesthetic upgrades of the Mano, including solid top, maple binding, gold tuners, and dual strap pins, but it’s built with acacia wood instead of mahogany. Acacia is revered for its beautiful, full tone and we’ve added abalone-style trim around the body.

Beautiful instrument with top notch exceptional service from Dave. Thank you.
I am loving my new Honolua baritone ukulele. The build quality and tone are excellent. I was so thrilled that I immediately went to work making a t-shirt and a strap. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a quality instrument at a reasonable price. Thanks, Honolua!
Just got my baritone after almost a 2 month wait. The positive side : It sounds REALLY good, the fret edges are smooth. The esthetics and feel in my hands are pleasing
On the down side: the groove in which the saddle sits in was cut a touch too wide resulting in a forward tilt of the saddle not properly sitting on the piezo pick-up. And my biggest problem is the fact that like almost all ukuleles in that price range , the intonation is all over the place. Varying from 10% to 22% at the 12th frets. I can clearly hear the sound beating when playing the open D string with the D on the G string for example. Carving a compensated saddle isn't really a task I enjoy doing. The carrying bag that comes with it is thinner than the $80can Kmise I bought on Amazon.
Still, In the end, this ukulele will sound great AND play great. But I didn't expect to have to spend that much time to get it there...

We are in love with our Baritone Ukulele that we received for our daughter! The style of the wood and details in the border are stunning! She hasn't stopped playing it since it's arrived!
I really enjoy the feel and sound of this Uke. Seems to be very high quality. The only reason I’m giving 4 stars instead of 5 is that I wish it had a few more options for the design. The outline is a little too sparkly for my liking, but it’s the only option for a baritone with electronics
