The biggest thing that came with your ukulele isn't in the box.
A real course, and sixteen songs you already know with Dave playing along. That's what the Honolua Starter Course is for — six sections, self-paced, lifetime access. No theory, no notation, no reading music.
One note if you ordered a baritone, a ukulele bass or a guitalele. The course is taught in standard GCEA tuning, and yours is tuned differently. Sections 1 through 3 — tuning, holding, care and restringing — all still apply. The chord sections won't map one to one. It's yours either way, and if you'd like a hand finding chord charts for your tuning, just ask.
Email me at info@honoluaukuleles.com and I'll send your access link over. If you bought your ukulele from one of our dealers, mention where and roughly when — dealer orders don't come through our system, so I'll set you up by hand.
Section 1, Lesson 1. It's short, and it shows you where everything lives.
Then go straight to Section 4 — that's where the chords and the strumming start, and you've already got the ukulele in your hands. If it hasn't arrived yet, Section 3 covers tuning, holding and care, so you're ready the day it lands.
Sections 4 through 6 are the Fast Track — about an hour a day for three days. Some people go straight through in one sitting. Others spread it over a couple of weeks. Your pace is the right pace, and the worst it will ever be is what it is right now.
